Redstone Search Group Ltd have three main desks:

Redstone Commodity Search focus on offering 360° search solutions to the global commodities markets. We have a competitive coverage of trading houses, producers, majors, utilities, merchants, hedge funds, investment banks and brokerages.

Redstone Private Banking Search are a renowned private banking head-hunters and leaders in the global provision of search solutions for the international private banking and wealth & asset management markets.

Redstone Legal, Risk and Compliance Search covers our clients most important and strategic areas. We work across our existing client base, as well as developing our finance and private practice business, to provide a fully comprehensive talent acquisition service, ensuring that these integral functions are staffed with the strongest industry talent.

Escape the City

Redstone Search Group is located on the river Ver next to Sopwell House, and alongside the well-respected Verulam golf course.

The location is well situated for access from Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Welwyn Garden City, and London with a 20-minute train line direct into Kings Cross Station.

Andy Low - Director

It has been an honour and a pleasure to have grown with Redstone since inception. After starting as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in 2014 covering the Commodities markets, I took full responsibility for the Commodities desk and subsequently launched two new desks, namely Private Banking and LRC. We staged a management buyout late 2022 and are currently enjoying our further expansion primarily within the FICC spectrum. I have had the opportunity to travel globally and establish relationships with a wide variety of clients as well as overseeing the training and development of our internal team (much more like family than a traditional team!) Watching our team grow both in size and experience has been the most rewarding opportunity and as we look to the future, remains the strongest of motivators.

I joined Redstone Search Group in January 2016 after studying at Nottingham University. My role within the organisation was full on from day one, we had the aim of establishing a Private Banking and Wealth management offering to compete with and complement our Commodity business and I am pleased to say we have successfully achieved this. Across the last seven years, we have seen great traction in the expansion of our client base and we are now partnering with some of the most exciting and longstanding names in Private Banking and Wealth Management, providing comprehensive search solutions across the full spectrum of our client’s business. As our market presence continues to grow, so do our efforts to build a thriving and hungry team of consultants to further expand our ability to place high-level professionals across the Global Private Client hubs. As of 2022, I became a Director and co-owner of the Redstone Search Group business and I look forward to helping the team further establish itself one of the best boutique brands in Executive Search.

Thomas Carson - Director

Coming from a construction background as a qualified electrician, I joined Redstone in 2018 as a Trainee Consultant with no prior recruitment experience. Through bespoke, personalised training run by the senior management, I became a successful Head-hunter within the Energy and Raw Materials space. As the company and my career continued to develop, I was tasked with setting up our newest division, Legal, Risk and Compliance, a natural bolt on to our existing business. Our Legal desk is now being spearheaded by Senior Consultant Thomas Eastwood and our Risk, FICC activities lead by Senior Consultant Luce Brace. In 2022 I was part of a management buyout becoming a Director and Shareholder, leading the company to the next stage of growth.

I started with Redstone in January 2020, three months before the Covid outbreak! With a background in hospitality and wedding management, executive recruitment was brand new to me, but I knew I had transferable skills and the strong desire to increase my paycheck and have ownership over what I was earning. Some of my initial training was remote due to lockdown, however I was completely supported throughout this time and did not feel my position was at risk whilst other companies were making significant lay-offs / furloughing their staff. I like working at Redstone because it has provided me with the opportunity to build and manage my own book of business, with a high degree of autonomy. Whilst recruitment can be an extremely challenging sector to work in, the team at Redstone is incredibly supportive and makes being at work fun, which makes it much easier to overcome the challenges as they arrive, ultimately providing a platform for success.

Outside of Work

On top of all the work activities and benefits that we offer, we have a strong focus on having a family feel to the team, building long lasting friendships with your teammates. Outside of work, members of the team run a six-a-side football team, tee off at golf weekly, play pool and snooker, race each other at go karting tracks across Hertfordshire and London, and go out for food and drinks after work.
