As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will be responsible for expanding Redstone’s presence in the European and Asian commodities markets, specifically within oil, shipping and dry freight. You will build and develop client relationships through excellence in the recruiting process, including sourcing, selecting and screening candidates as well as managing the entire 360° recruitment lifecycle. The role will focus on responsive relationship management with candidates as well as utmost attention to client mandates and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Participating in our 'Redstone Trainee Recruitment Scheme’
  • Business development: Acquiring and developing commodities client relationships and constantly seeking new opportunities in the market for business growth
  • Talent acquisition: Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
  • Process management: Managing the full 360° recruitment lifecycle from first contact until completion. Arranging interviews, feedback management, closing deals and post-placement follow up
  • Research: Actively networking with candidates and industry connections, market mapping and using various databases and social media
  • Market intelligence: Generating leads from interactions with industry professionals and keeping up to date with market news
  • Hitting daily targets and KPI's

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Sales mindset (as mindset trumps skill set every day of the week!)
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and target driven
  • Confident and articulate presentation in person and on the phone (both cold and warm calling)
  • Strong communicators with a sense of humour (we don’t work in a library!!)
  • Able to work in a high pressure environment (such as a library)
  • Entrepreneurial with an interest in sales and finance
  • True desire to be a trainee recruitment consultant in a fast paced and niche industry
