Redstone Commodity Search are working with a specialist aluminium supplier looking to hire a Aluminium Foundry Manager to join the team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Ensure maximum efficiency of production, energy and cost reduction for the aluminium casthouse
• Responsible for maintaining operational excellence of the casthouse including management of aluminium casting and melting equipment, production and installations, safety and compliance
• Participate in energy management for continuous improvement of gas, electricity and water consumption
• Managing engineering renovation and green-field projects, responsible for tender and aware negotiations, and liaise effectively with various suppliers
• Conduct internal and external training sessions for employees to ensure the casthouse retains the highest possible production and operational standards

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Experience running an aluminium casthouse with full responsibility for production and operations
• Specific experience with primary foundry alloys and related equipment a major benefit
• Must be fluent in German and English
• Strong track record in delivering high production, operational and maintenance results within a plant/casthouse
• Located in Germany or willing to relocate
