Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major mining entity looking to hire an Aluminum Sales Manager to join the team in their US Office.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for developing the sales of value-added aluminum products to North America, with a major focus on billets
  • Conduct aluminum market analysis, research studies and monitor industry trends
  • Develop and implement methods to optimise aluminum sales strategies and enhance commercial success across the US
  • Liaise with international customers to build and maintain strong relationships within the aluminum industry
  • Reports into Sales Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in metal sales, preferably with specific experience across value-added aluminum products (billets, foundry alloys, slabs, rod) or coming from the extrusion business
  • Strong sales background within the US market with proven track record of developing a profitable book (any knowledge of ferrous or non-ferrous metals incl. copper, nickel, steel, zinc etc.)
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and commercial acumen
  • Must have right to work in the US
  • Located in Chicago or willing to relocate
