Redstone Commodity Search are working with a multinational bunker trading company looking to hire a bunker trader to join their team in Hamburg

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for the physical trading of marine fuels in the European/African market
• Analysis of trends in the market including pricing in the bunker industry to forecast in order to maximise profit
• Grow and maintain relationships with suppliers so as to ensure best pricing of bunker fuels
• Grow and maintain a portfolio of end user clients within the bunker industry
• Reports into the commercial manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 4+ years of experience (absolute minimum) in spot trading a bunker portfolio
• Current trading experience in the bunker industry
• Portfolio of transferable business in marine fuels a necessity (supply and demand side, European and/or African markets)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills (English and German)
• Role to be based in Hamburg
