Redstone Commodity Search are working with an internationally established Metals Trading House looking to hire an experienced operations candidate to join the commercial team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for arranging daily truck, rail, and ocean shipments among producers, storage facilities, ports and customers including preparing and executing letters of credit
  • Approve costs and invoices associated with contract execution and execution of physical metal movements
  • Supporting the trading teams, as well as working with the treasury team and external contacts to ensure all operational functions with regards to metal trades are completed accurately
  • Coordinate with trading desks, producers and third party logistics providers to enable logistical aspects of commodity contract administration and execution
  • Reports into Head of Operations

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in operations, preferably in metals concentrates trading (aluminium, nickel, tin, steel, lead, zinc, copper, etc.)
  • Ideal candidate will have experience handling both container and bulk cargoes
  • Strong knowledge of handling letters of credit, shipping documents and other documents/regulations related to contract execution
  • Previous experience with contract management software desirable
  • Located in Dubai or happy to relocate
