Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metal’s producer looking to hire a Casthouse Head to join the team in Norway.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Continuously develop the strategy of the casthouse to achieve results on an annual basis.
• Direct the full casting process from receiving raw material through casting to ensure the process is done efficiently, while securing quality and purity of product.
• Manage and motivate team leads, process engineers and planners to meet goals while continuously improving the casting production (10 direct reports).
• Work closely with the commercial team and customers to strengthen customer relationships.
• Role reports to Operations Manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 8+ years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing space.
• Strong understanding of operational standards, quality systems, and knowledge of the financials related to the business.
• Strong leadership experience, ability to direct and motivate employees both inside and outside the casthouse.
• Fluency in English is a must, Norwegian is an advantage.
• Located or willing to relocate to Norway.
