Redstone Commodity Search are working with a multinational agriculture trading house seeking a Post Graduate to join their team in Africa as part of their Graduate Leadership Programme.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for collaborating with other team members to gain hands-on experience across the entire supply chain (from origination to understanding the branch's P&L, cost control, risk management, and people management).
  • Work on a rotating basis with various offices throughout Africa, covering a wide range of products such as grains, animal feeds, proteins, rubber, edible oils, rice, and so on.
  • Learn to analyse market conditions in order to generate and identify business models and strategies that will aid in the expansion and development of current operations in Africa.
  • Be in charge of developing solid, long-term relationships with key business decision makers, as well as maintaining existing ones.
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • You must currently be pursuing a Master’s degree in any field related to business, international relations, environmental sciences, or supply chain from a top business school in Europe or the United States
  • Have at least two years of experience in any industry involving supply chain, management, or sales
  • Entrepreneurial mind set with a large risk appetite
  • Drive to manage a team and the operations for a specific African country/origin.
  • You must already be qualified to work in Africa
