Redstone Commodity Search are working with and international supply chain group looking to hire a Logistics & Operations Specialist to join the commercial team in South Florida.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Coordinate with local operations in the different countries on inventory levels, quality specs, cash flow requirements, shipment schedules and vessel nominations
  • Monitor all flow of contracts and collection of finalized contracts
  • Keeping up to date on current operations, including budgets, client deliveries, costs, inventories, invoices, accounts receivable and collections
  • Monitor inventory data, shipment projections, laytime calculations and total costs
  • Maintain contact with customers, suppliers, brokers and third parties

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Prior industry experience in import / export logistics, supply chain and/or trade operations
  • Experience in handling the full front to back process of trade logistics, including documentation, scheduling and shipments. Experience with bulk vessels would be an advantage
  • Excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Located in South Florida
