Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metal producer looking to hire an Environment, Health and Safety Manager to join the team in Mosjøen.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Provide directions to leadership, employee and contracts, and act as the principal contact for the EHS work execution.
  • Coordinate and provide training to the site personal and contractors to make sure everyone understands their role in pro-actively identifying and resolving EHS issues.
  • Promote and maintain awareness of existing EHS laws & regulations, and participate in investigations of EHS incidents.
  • Continuously improve EHS for the site by utilizing human performance principles, training, and maintaining the EHS management system.
  • Role reports to Plant manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Environmental, health & Safety field, ideally within the manufacturing space.
  • Proven ability to drive cultural change, coach and facilitate the best approach to Health and Safety system implementation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or industry experience in operational roles preferred.
  • Fluency in Norwegian required
  • Located or willing to relocate to Mosjøen, Norway. (Possibility for hybrid)
