Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international fertilizer trading company seeking a fertilizer trader to join their head office in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for trading fertilizer products (potash. Nitrogen, NPKs, phosphates, speciality fertilizers etc.) into the European markets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing fertilizer clients
  • Stay on top of market trends and changes in order to identify new business opportunities and build a book of new fertilizer customers in target markets
  • Work closely with the traffic and operations teams to ensure a smooth supply chain
  • Reports into Head of Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in international fertilizer trading and/or sales (phosphates, potash, nitrogen, NPKs, speciality fertilizers etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the European fertilizer markets
  • Positive track record of trading and building relationships with accounts in Europe
  • Good understanding of shipping and logistics processes including export/shipping documentation
  • Located in or eligible to work in Switzerland (work permit or EU citizenship essential)
