Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metals producer looking to hire a Global Sales Leader (Wire Rod) to join the team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for leading the physical sales of aluminium wire rod to customers/end users globally
  • Manage the global accounts for aluminium wire rod and work closely with regional sales teams to evaluate performance
  • Devise and implement short and long term wire rod sales strategies to maximise commercial success and overall competitiveness
  • Define key targets for the regional sales teams and hold responsibility for the global product P&L
  • Reports to Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the aluminium wire rod /cable industry in a commercial role (sales or purchasing);
  • Excellent knowledge of the aluminium wire rod market with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers;
  • Ability to obtain insights into customer strategies and business drivers and translating them into value creation and risk reduction measures.
  • Fluency in English, other languages a benefit
