Redstone Commodity Search are working with a bunker trading and tech company looking to hire a seasoned bunker trader with team leadership experience to lead the trading team in the UK or work remotely.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for the physical trading of marine fuels in the global market
• Grow and maintain a portfolio of clients and physical suppliers within the shipping industry to ensure maximum profitability
• Oversee trading team and direct general trading strategy
• Oversee growth of client base for proprietary SaaS platform
• Reports into the CEO

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 7+ years’ experience in spot trading a marine fuels portfolio a necessity.
• Proven team leadership/managerial experience
• Portfolio of transferable relationships in marine fuels (supply and demand side) a bonus
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Role can either be based in the UK, hybrid, or can potentially be conducted remotely
