Redstone Commodity Search are working with an International Commodity Trading house looking to hire a Logistics and Documentation Coordinator to join the team in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for managing all aspects of international accounts, including inventory management, order placement, coordinating logistics related to exporting agricultural business products in containers.
- Cooperate with shipping lines and service providers to ensure transactions are executed efficiently and on time.
- Assure everything is in compliance with customs, exports, applicable foreign trade & importation laws, as well as the applicable federal transport regulations.
- Responsible for building a department by selecting team members and training them.
- Role reports to Execution Team lead.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics, ideally with previous ocean containers exports and freight forwarding background, within the food and agricultural/soft commodities industry.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and have excellent communication.
- Experience with setting policies such as process flows, and knowledge of export container logistics execution.
- Experience with managing and training a team.
- Located in Atlanta, Georgia.
