Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international copper mining company looking to hire a Metals Operation Executive to join their London team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Dealing with the logistics and operations such as: scheduling, dealing with letters of credit, bank contracts, bill of exchange and bills of landing
• Contract monitoring, execution and dealing with complaints / issues from clients
• Shipping and invoicing documentation – ensuring timely document preparation, payment collection and cargo release activities of metals such as copper, molybdenum and rhenium
• Helping trial a new commercial platform with clients and counterparties
• Role reports to CEO and Operations Manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Experience within a commodity trading and/or shipping environment is required
• Strong commercial sense within metals (preferably within copper, molybdenum, rhenium, or other precious metals) as well as being customer orientated
• Experience in financial matters relating to cash flow, accounts receivables/payables, bookings, account reconciliation, monthly closing tasks and file liquidation
• Fluent in English and ideally a knowledge of Spanish
• Located in London / happy to travel as role is hybrid providing flexible working
