Redstone Commodity Search are working with a multinational oil brokerage looking to expand their energy offering in the US. They are looking for energy products brokers to join their Houston office.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for developing business in the form of building and maintaining a portfolio
  • Take enquiries in order to create and facilitate quotes and processing sales of energy products on a physical and/or financial basis (Gasoline, Ethanol, NGLs, Propane, Butane and Ethane)
  • Maintaining a constant revenue stream whilst also working to develop new business
  • Monitor and update movements in the market and offer commentary to keep clients up to date; matching broking strategy and risk management to current market conditions on behalf of corporate and institutional clients. (trading houses, producers, refineries, banks, hedge funds, prop traders, professional traders etc.)
  • Reports to Managing Director of US

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years broking one or more of the relevant described products
  • A portable book of business within the same products (Gasoline, Ethanol, NGLs, Propane, Butane and Ethane)
  • Excellent knowledge of US energy markets and broking energy products on a physical and/or paper basis
  • Must have an excellent ability to communicate (written and spoken) and negotiate
  • Role based in Houston, Tx
