Redstone Commodity Search are working with a London based commodity trading and risk management firm who are expanding, and looking to hire a PPA Originator to lead the build out and development of their pan European energy trading activities.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Identify and originate PPA opportunities for renewable energy projects across Europe
• Build, develop and maintain relationships with project developers, investors and utilities to establish PPA opportunities while also working with buyers of PPAs
• Negotiate and execute PPA’s that align with organizations goals and objectives
• Keep up to date with industry developments and technologies as well as ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met
• Role reports into Business Partner / Head of Energy Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Strong knowledge of the financial markets and PPA structure, with a minimum of 4 years experience originating PPA’s across Europe
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Understanding of the risk and legal framework of PPA’s
• Networks of PPA buyers amongst industrial corporate clients
• Located in London or happy to relocate
