Redstone Commodity Search are working with growing renewable energy trading house looking to hire a Renewable Sales Trader (US CITIZEN) to join the commercial team in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for/In charge of renewable energy trading across the US and EU markets.
• Conduct local market research on the environmental commodities market and contribute to the company's growth efforts.
• Responsible for building and expanding their own network of clients within the US / European markets.
• Utilize their sales initiative to build on ongoing market analysis and improve business.
• Reports into Head of Trading.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in Renewable Energy trading (REC’s / I-REC’s / GOO’s experience desirable) in the US markets.
• Self-starter, motivated and eager to develop skills to become an industry leader.
• Commercial experience closing out deals, cold calling, entrepreneurship mindset.
• Fluency in English, able to speak Dutch is beneficial.
• To be located in Amsterdam for 1 year, essential to be a US Citizen, as there is an aim to open a US office in 2024.
