Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international agricultural commodities group looking to hire a Rice Sales Manager for their team in China. The role will focus on sales of rice to the domestic Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for leading strategic and sustainable sales growth of the rice business in the domestic market in China.
  • Managing and strengthening customer relationships as well as developing new customer base
  • Identifying new business growth opportunities
  • Planning medium and long term objectives with rice product team
  • Keeping up to date with product information, and market dynamics. Develop key insights and provide market views and reports on a regular basis

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 7-10 years’ rice sales and/or trading experience in the domestic China market
  • Excellent connections with Chinese trading companies, importers and food companies
  • Good knowledge of the supply and demand dynamics of the rice market
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Role based in Shanghai or South China
