Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metals producer looking to hire a Slab Sales Manager to join the team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for expanding the sales of aluminium slabs (sheet ingots) across Asia
  • Play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, formulating short and long term strategic plans for the book
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships contract negotiation, visits, handling enquiries etc. to enhance the overall commercial success of the slab portfolio
  • Assess feasibility of sales contracts through analysis of relevant metrics such as financing costs, product capacity and customer status
  • Reports into the Head of Sales

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in a commercial role within aluminium (e.g. sales, trading or sales/assistant)
  • Experience within the aluminium rolling industry is preferable (knowledge of aluminium slabs/sheet ingots)
  • Excellent knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020, LME/hedging and relevant trade techniques
  • Fluency in English, with Korean an advantage
  • Located in Singapore / must have Singapore PR
