Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodities trading company seeking to hire a Sales Manager for their chemical solvents business in North America.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for leading the development and expansion of the chemical solvents trading business in the United States
  • Creating and implementing territorial and national sales strategies to support the Group’s growth plans and maximize market penetration
  • Establishing relationships with customers in key industries (e.g. inks, paints, personal care)
  • Working closely alongside teams in finance, logistics and operations
  • Working closely with senior leadership team in developing new initiatives and investments for the business

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in solvents sales in the United States, handling chemicals such as acetone, MEK and IPA
  • An established network of customers within the US solvents market
  • Genuine entrepreneurial drive and motivation
  • Strong “hunter” mentality and aptitude for business development
  • Location flexible within the United States (home office / remote working can be considered)
