Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global steel trading company looking to add an Arabic-speaking contracts administrator to their London office.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for full life cycle of trade order documentation, from booking to completion, to assist steel traders within the European and North African markets
  • In charge of preparing and issuing purchase and sales contracts as well as transport documentation, informa invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, bills of lading and other shipping documents.
  • Opening and amending letters of credit to suppliers as and when required and ensure all orders are checked and meet terms of the contract
  • Liaise with logistics to arrange transportation of freight as well as occasionally be involved in the agreement of costs, and freight and transport terms of delivery
  • Reports into Head of Operations

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Fluency in Arabic is beneficial, additional French skills would be preferred
  • Experience working in contracts administration, preferably for a steel or metals trading company (aluminium, copper, zinc, tin, lead etc.)
  • Strong understanding of import/export shipping documentation including purchase and sales contracts and letters of credit
  • Preferably UK or EU citizenship
  • Located in London (happy to relocate)
