Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodities trading company looking for a trade finance manager for their office in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for handling all trade finance activities in Singapore from start to finish for the company’s grain trading activities (wheat, barley, corn, rice, oats, etc.)
  • Maintain and develop relationships with banks to secure financing and ensure cash flow availability to support the Singapore grain trading team
  • Prepare, amend and issue letters of credit, bank guarantees, invoices and other trade finance products
  • Carry out treasury and cash-flow analysis as well as monitoring risk exposure
  • Reports into the Finance Manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in trade finance/trade support operations for an international commodities trading company or financial institution, ideally agriculture (grain, oilseeds, cotton, coffee, cocoa, sugar, etc.)
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin
  • Excellent knowledge of INCOTERMS, shipping documents (L/C, LOI’s), loan agreements, bank guarantees etc.
  • Previous experience working with banks and other counterparties
  • Located in Singapore or happy to relocate
