Redstone Commodity Search are working with multinational trading house looking to hire a trading analyst to join the environmental team in New York.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for assisting the traders in developing supply and demand models.
• Support traders in structuring the trading books.
• Research and analyze statistics to optimize the delivery book.
• Make the best of your analytical skills to suggest creative commercial propositions to the trading team.
• Role reports to Managing Partner.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in a trading company as a trader/analyst/researcher, with experience in environmental commodities being an advantage
• Proficiency in Excel and Python are a requirement. Experience using VBA and SQL are a big plus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree on business (ideally finance, economics, math).
• Working rights in the US is a requirement.
• Role to be located in New York.
