Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global leader in building materials and solutions looking to hire a physical trading manager to join the commercial team in Miami.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for/In charge of the physical trading in cementitious products across the USA, Canada and LATAM, negotiating sales across all products; cement, clinker, gypsum, slag, fly ash, solid fuels, limestone and others.
  • Proposing and executing the trading plan in US regions whilst maximising volumes and ROIC with 3rd party customers.
  • Sourcing new business for cement and clinker
  • Managing trading risk across the product lines and assisting support across operations, legal, chartering, finance and colleagues across different regions.
  • Reports into senior trading manager of Americas.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum five years’ experience in cementitious or comparable/bulk commodity trading and knowledge of operations, logistics and documentation.
  • Technical or commercial education and a degree in business or engineering is advantageous
  • English and Spanish speaking, bilingual
  • In depth understanding in cement properties and usages for different customers, Expert in international maritime and seaborn trading regulations and regulations. Good communication, fluid management style and team player.
  • The role is located in Miami, Florida
