Redstone Commodity Search are working with a metal trading company looking to add a contracts administrator to their team in the US.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for full traffic contracts administration of metal orders including arranging transport, invoices, pricing confirmations, issuing instructions and resolving any problems
  • Supervise loading and discharge of metal cargoes (aluminium, nickel, lead, zinc, tin, etc.) as well as manage transport from ports and warehouses to customers
  • Handle claims and approve costs and invoices associated with contract execution and execution of physical metal movements
  • Coordinate with traders, finance team and banks regarding contract amendments, letters of credit, insurance, accounts receivable, accounts payable etc.
  • Reports into Head of Operations

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • 2-5 years’ experience in traffic contracts administration, preferably for metals trading (aluminium, nickel, tin, steel, lead, zinc, copper, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of handling letters of credit, shipping documents and other documents/regulations related to contract execution
  • Excellent communication skills, a good understanding of Spanish would be a benefit
  • Previous experience with contract management software desirable
  • Located in or eligible to work in the US
